Terms and Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any course as these contain information about your rights and obligations and apply to all bookings

Please note: 

• Pandirevision's training courses and services are independent of and are not run by the International Group of P&I clubs or its member clubs 
• The P&IQ name and the materials are owned by the International Group of P&I Clubs and are used under licence from them 

1 Courses – alteration and cancellation 

(a) We, Pandirevision, reserve the right to alter the course content or cancel any course without notice. 

(b) Where a course(s) is cancelled, refunds of the charge for the course(s) (“course fees”) will be made unless the course(s) are cancelled due to force majeure reasons.

2 Course payment and access 

(a) Where there is a course fee, payment must be made in the manner prescribed in the booking confirmation, no less than 14 days before the course is scheduled to take place. 

(b) Where payment of the course fee is not received more than 14 days before the course commences, we reserve the right to decline to give you access to the course.

3 Force majeure

(a) We will not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations is prevented, frustrated or impeded by war or other hostility, strikes, lockout, act of God, accident, trade disputes, restraints of government, imposition or restrictions of any sort whatsoever beyond our control. 

(b) In no case whatsoever are we responsible for any service failure due to poor or no internet connection whether this be Pandirevision’s or your internet service.
 

4 Refunds for cancellation 

a) No refunds of payments of course fees will be made where cancellation takes place less than 14 days before the commencement of the course. 

b) In that case you have the option to transfer to the next equivalent course at no extra cost if a place on the course is available.

c) If you wish to cancel more than 14 days in advance of the course and payment of the course fee(s)has been received by us, you have the option of a refund of the course fee(s) or transfer to a place on an alternative course if a place is available, at no extra cost.

5 Courses offered only on line 

a) At present courses are being offered only online via Zoom. You will be expected to have an Internet connection capable of receiving the Zoom connection and maintaining it for the duration of the course. Please see 3(b) above.

b) Pandirevision is not responsible for any inability by you to receive the online course due to any Internet problems of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising regardless of whether these problems relate to Pandirevision’s or your service. 

6 Course materials and examinations 

a) We use the P&IQ course materials. You are expected to be in a possession of these materials for the course.

b) While courses will follow the content of each P&IQ module, we reserve the right to determine the content of our courses. 

c) Prior to any course taking place, we shall send you a brief description of the matters we intend to cover in each course. 

d) We reserve the right to vary, change, amend the course content without notice save that the course will address, in whole or part, the content of the relevant P&IQ module. 

e) We have no communications with the organisers of the P&IQ examinations. We have no knowledge of the content of the questions to be posed in any examination. In no circumstances whatsoever or howsoever arising are we responsible for your performance in the examinations.

Limitation of liability 

a) Our responsibility to you is limited to providing the course you have booked. 

b) Where we cannot do so for any reason save as set out in clause 3 above, we shall refund you the course fee(s) provided we have received these from you. 

c) Our liability to you in any and all circumstances will be limited to the course fee(s) received by us from you and in no circumstances of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising will our liability exceed a sum equivalent to these course fee(s received from you. 

7 Privacy notice 

Please refer to the Privacy Notice on this website for the terms relating to the collection and retention of data.

8 Changes to these terms 

Pandirevision reserves the right to change the terms under which the courses are offered. Any changes in the Terms and Conditions will be effective once the text of the Terms and Condition on this website have been amended. You are advised to check the Terms and Conditions as posted on the website periodically to ensure you are aware of and comply with the current version
